Please note that our vehicles are only permitted to travel within Namibia and Botswana. Cross-border travel to other countries is not allowed. For added convenience, we do offer one-way rentals, allowing you to start your journey in Namibia and drop off the vehicle in Botswana or vice versa. This is a great option for travellers with flexible itineraries or those flying out from different locations.
However, a one-way drop-off fee applies, and arrangements must be made in advance to ensure smooth coordination.
Terms & Conditions when crossing to Botswana:
- No Vehicle may be taken out of Namibia without prior authorization and a valid permit issued by relevant authorities.
- Travel is allowed only to the neighbouring country of Botswana
- The Renter is responsible, solely at his/her cost, to return the Vehicle to Windhoek, Namibia should the Vehicle be damaged outside of Namibia. The address will be provided by the Lessor.
- The excess fee will automatically be doubled for cross border rentals and is agreed to by the Renter in acceptance hereof.
- A detailed travel itinerary must be provided to the Lessor.
- Vehicles taken to countries other than Namibia & Botswana are not covered by the Lessor's insurance, and the Renter will be fully responsible for any costs due to breakdowns or damages caused to Vehicles and the Lessor accepts no liability whatsoever.
- The Renter agrees to obey all road rules and regulations in all countries where the Vehicle is operated.
- The Renter agrees to be liable for all body, mechanical & undercarriage damages to the vehicle caused by unsuitable road conditions.
- The essor cannot guarantee roadside assistance and will not be held liable whatsoever for any circumstance in Botswana and the Lessor accepts no responsibility and shall not be liable for delays occasioned by breakdowns or any other circumstances.
